I'm sad to say that The Elrics are no more. After an almost spinal tap amount of member changes and many years working together under this name and others(Fatally Yours, Nowhere Fast) we just feel our hearts aren't in it the way they once were. Obviously this means the upcoming tour is completely cancelled, so apologees to anyone that planned to come to a show. We want to thank everyone who picked up any Demos, Eps or Albums of ours over the years and anyone that came to a show and hope that you managed to get some enjoyment out of us. Just to be clear, we haven't fallen out, infact our friendships are better than ever, but we felt if we continued working together as the three of us, with all the time and money that has to go into it, after so many years, that we would just hate each other. And keeping our friendships is just way more important to us.

As things stand right now: Gareth and I are still working together with our Acoustic Cover Band 'The Tommy Guns'. We're playing pretty regularly and we even play a few of our own songs in there too. We're really looking to build on this and have some exciting stuff coming up, so check out the facebook page and become a fan.

Andy right now is taking a little break from everything and then will probably be looking for a new band, he is a great guitarist and whoever ends up with him is very  VERY lucky. He really cant sing though.

We have a few 'Tommy Guns' gigs coming up with Myself, Gareth and Andy over the next couple of weeks(SEE we ARE still friends) and then Gaz and I have a new plan about where we want to take it.

Anyways, I wont bore you anymore, thanks for everything!
